Is this a ploy by the company to generate more revenue by forcing us to purchase new computers? Someone please help. No one can precisely answer the questions on how to fix this or what is causing this problem. Is there anyone out there in the Dell Community that can help me with this problem? Also, why does this happen? From numerous internet searches and posts, it seems many people are using their computers casually and all of a sudden, things quit working properly. I was able to read my hard drive and ran a scan for viruses (clean). even took out my hard drive and connected to another computer via a USB 2.0 IDE/SATA Adapter. boot up with one memory stick (2 x 256 sticks), 4.
